All 254 of them
Every county in Texas.
We file in all of them. These are the real numbers for each, taken from the Comptroller's published rates, not an average.
Property tax in Texas is administered by 254 separate appraisal districts. There is no state office. The rate, the deadlines in practice, and how a protest actually gets settled all vary by district, which is why the figures below are per county rather than one number for the state.
The exemption column is what the $140,000 school homestead exemption is worth against that county’s own school tax rate. It is what we file for you, free, whether or not you ever protest.
Where we work most
We file statewide. These three are where our first season is concentrated, so they get the most attention.
All 254 counties
Sorted alphabetically. The rate is the combined rate of every taxing unit in the county, which is what a reduction in your value gets multiplied by.
Rates computed from the Texas Comptroller’s 2025 Rates and Levies workbooks by summing every taxing unit’s levy in the county over its taxable value. Exemption values use each county’s own school tax rate against the $140,000 school homestead exemption.
