My dad raised me to be cheap. It stuck.
I make a living saving people money, and I don’t think I should get paid unless I actually do it. So: nothing up front. No minimum. No fee at all unless your tax bill goes down. If I save you nothing, I make nothing. That’s not a promotion, that’s the whole deal.
Here’s what bothers me. Most Texans never protest their property taxes. They’re not fine with the bill — nobody showed them how, and the deadline blows past every May whether they knew about it or not. Buying a house is the biggest financial thing most families ever do, and the tax bill is the one part nobody teaches you.
So we take every scrap of data we can get — the county’s own records, the sales on your street, whatever you can tell us about your house — and we argue your number down. And here’s the thing nobody says out loud: nobody from the county has ever set foot inside your house. You have.
You’re not a parcel number to me. You’re a family. Whatever I save you turns into something real in your life. That’s the job.

What that looks like in practice
“We care about people” is the easiest sentence in this business to type. Here’s what it costs us to actually mean it.
Most property tax firms buy a list, mail forty thousand postcards in April, and never talk to a human. We do it backwards. Three things we do that lose us money:
We file your homestead exemption free. We make $0 on it.
For most people it’s worth more than the protest. About 1 in 4 new buyers miss it their first year. 1 in 6 never file at all — and that money’s gone for good. We do it because somebody should.
We tell you when we’re not filing.
If your value looks right, we say so and we do nothing. A firm that gets paid either way never sends that email.
A real person calls you. One of the people on this page.
Not a portal. Not a ticket number. Not a call center reading a script about a house nobody has ever looked at.
None of that works without the right people. And here’s the thing — you can’t train somebody to care. There’s no script for it, and you’d hear it if there was. So we hire people who already do, then get out of their way. That’s the entire hiring policy.
