This is our first season. Here's what we'll publish when it's over, and why there's nothing on this page today.
Every firm in this business has a results page with an average savings figure on it. Almost none of them tell you how many properties that average is drawn from, how many protests lost, or what the median was rather than the mean.
We could put an industry number here and it would probably help us close more business. We'd rather this page be worth reading in two years, so it stays empty until it's ours.
What goes on this page after the first season
Texas protest results settle over the spring and summer. The first complete set of numbers we can stand behind arrives in late 2027.
- Protests filed
- How many we actually filed, by county, and how many accounts we chose not to file.
- Won and lost
- The count, not a percentage with no denominator under it.
- Total reduced
- Dollars of assessed value removed, and the tax dollars that turns into.
- Median saving
- The median, alongside the average. They are not the same number and the gap matters to you.
- Our fee
- What we were paid in total, so you can check it against 40%.
- Exemptions filed
- Homestead exemptions filed, which cost you nothing and are most of what we do in year one.
What you can check right now instead
Your appraisal district publishes its own protest outcomes every year, for every agent including us. Once we're your designated agent you can call them and ask what we filed and what happened to it. That record isn't ours to edit, which makes it worth more than anything we'd write here.
Until then: we don't charge anything up front, we don't charge anything if we don't win, and the homestead exemption filing is free either way. That's the whole downside of finding out.
